Story Bites takes place every morning, Tuesday - Friday, in the Story Cafe.
Come and join us for a storytelling session with picture books, games, props and lots of joining in. Whether it is a Giant Jam Sandwich, Handas Fruit Salad Surprise or even Tea with a tiger, we are sure there will be something to whet your appetite!

Children's Workshop: Mini zoologist for a morning, 28th September 2019, 10:00 to 12:00 at Sutton Courtenay Environmental Education Centre (17 miles)
Could you be a zoologist and discover the animals living all around us? We will spend the morning exploring the nature reserve and find out who lives here - from the watery depths of the pond to the leafy hidaways up in the trees.

Children's Workshop: Zoologist for an afternoon, 28th September 2019, 13:00 to 15:00 at Sutton Courtenay Environmental Education Centre (17 miles)
Search out the animals on our wild and beautiful nature reserve and record your findings to help the scientists who study them. Activities will include checking the mammal traps for little furry beasties, seeing who's been out on the reserve after dark and completing your own wildlife survey.

This activity is suitable for children aged 8 to 12 years with an accompanying adult. BOOKING ESSENTIAL.

The Newbury branch of the British Sub Aqua Club celebrated its 21st Anniversary in 2002. We currently have around 80 members.
We meet once a week on Thursdays at the Mary Hare School in Newbury and afterwards migrate to the Fox and Hounds, the nearest pub! Although primarily from the Newbury area, our members travel from as far as Romsey and Bicester.

We are an out-of-hours voluntary training and social organisation for people between the ages of 18 and 40. Meeting most Wednesday evenings, we run a number of training, social and business events within Reading.
